Side hustle
Is clipping a good side hustle?
Clipping can fit around other work: you pick campaigns, make edits on your own schedule and post them on your own accounts. Earnings aren't guaranteed. Pay depends on each clip's views, the campaign's rate and whether the clip is approved.
What you need
A Whop account
You sign in with Whop and open a free creator account.
Your posting accounts
At least one TikTok, Instagram Reels or YouTube Shorts account you post from, verified on Eclips Network.
Editing skill
Campaigns ask for short-form edits that set music to TV, film, celebrity and fandom moments. Onboarding starts from “I'm new to clipping”, “I've clipped before” or “I'm a pro”.
Time
There's no set time per edit: it depends on the brief and how fast you edit. You choose which campaigns to take.
How the money works
Pay depends on views
Per-view campaigns pay for the views a clip gets during its earning period (currently 7 days). Flat-rate campaigns pay a set amount per approved clip.
Only approved clips are paid
Every clip is reviewed against the brief first.
Withdrawals
Earnings go to your Whop balance after any marketplace fee. Withdraw to a bank account, PayPal or a crypto wallet. Payments under $1 can't be sent.

Questions, answered
- Are earnings guaranteed?
- No. Earnings aren't guaranteed. Pay depends on your clip's views, the campaign's rate and whether the clip is approved.
- What do I need to start?
- A Whop account, at least one TikTok, Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts account you post from, and an editing app you're comfortable with.
- Does it cost anything to join?
- No. The creator account is free. You sign in with Whop and open it from the Eclips Network platform.
- I've never clipped before. Can I still join?
- Yes. When you open your account you choose “I'm new to clipping”, “I've clipped before” or “I'm a pro”, and the introduction adjusts to where you are.
- How do I get paid?
- Each campaign pays either per view (for example $1 per 1,000 views) or a flat rate per approved clip, from the campaign's budget. Per-view clips earn during an earning period (currently 7 days), then pay automatically. Earnings land in your Whop balance after any marketplace fee.
- Why didn't a small payment arrive?
- Payments under $1 can't be sent, so a clip that earns less than $1 isn't paid out.
